Today was the San Diego Comic Con panel for Jellystone season 3. Unfortunately I couldn't attend, although I wish I could. There's a special called "Crisis on Infinite Mirths", releasing in the fall? C.H. Greenblatt is the showrunner of Jellystone, and Maxwell Atoms worked on this season! It's a little Billy and Mandy reunion. In fact, they're in the episode!!! It was screened early at the panel. This is the first official Billy and Mandy anything in years... you could debate since the show ended, or OK KO's Crossover Nexus. Although I wouldn't count the latter since Billy and Mandy wasn't a priority in it.

Text I didn't write. It reads Jellystone Screening and Panel. Sunday July 28, 2024 1:45pm - 2:45pm PDT. Room 6DE Its the crossover event of the year when The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, Samurai Jack, Billy, Mojo Jojo, and more of your favorite Cartoon Network characters cross an interdimensional portal into Jellystone. Catch all the multiversal shenanigans with a special episode screening followed by a Q&A with executive producer C. H. Greenblatt, director Maxwell Atoms, and Richard Steven Horvitz and other members of the voice cast.

There were some clips recorded of the special, but I don't feel like sharing it. Because I'm lazy and I dunno if that was allowed and I don't wanna get nobody in trouble and also spoilers. Hahaha.

However, I can say that C.H. Greenblatt confirmed that the Evil Con Carne characters will appear too. I really hope that they will speak!!!

Well, I won't leave you hanging. Here's what's been talked about. Whether some of these are true or not I dunno! I guess we'll see.

  • So far, every character seems to have their original voice actor. Greg Eagles (Grim) confirmed he would be in it last year or so.
  • There is a romance between Girl Yogi Bear and Mojo Jojo. (This seems funny, but I personally see Mojo as an angry child so it feels really strange to me.)
  • The crew asked for notes from Genndy Tartokovsky and Craig McCracken. Mr. McCracken asked for the original Bubbles to beat up 2016 Bubbles.

I've been drawing a lot of Powerpuff Girls lately. When I was very young, my favorite was Buttercup because she was masculine. Then it was Bubbles, as I realized the harsh realities of the world, and thus appreciated the good and sweet in it more. And now it's Blossom, because she is stupid and orange. I got a button of her from my old comic shop job and put it on the elastic of my notebook. She's a fun contrast with the teal!

Additionally, a new Powerpuff Girls comic released its first issue this month, by Dynamite. Here are my thoughts on it!
